Letter From Membership Vice President

Dear Potential New Members,

My name is Caroline Gerlits, and I am the Membership Vice President of the Theta Phi Chapter of Alpha Xi Delta. Our chapter cannot wait to finally meet you all during Formal Recruitment! The membership team, the chapter, and myself have been working incredibly hard to make it the best week for you all! 

Our campus is constantly growing. From the return of the football program to new emerging clubs and organizations, Alpha Xi Delta works to grow alongside UAB. All of our sisters continue to stay active on UAB’s campus. You can find Trailblazers, club presidents, dancers, research assistants, Honors College students, and many more within our chapter. The diverse personalities within our sisterhood result in lifelong friends and unforgettable memories. 

With Formal Recruitment quickly approaching, there are a few things that I want you to remember. 

1. Be yourself!  We want you to find a new home that exemplifies the values you already carry.

2. Keep an open mind with every chapter on campus. Coming in with preconceptions can hinder your recruitment experience.

3. Lean on your Pi Chis! Your Pi Chis are there to be your support throughout this experience, and they are so happy to be there for you! 

4. Have fun! Recruitment is exciting, and the beginning of your journey here at UAB.

5. Realize your potential! 

As UAB grows, so does Alpha Xi Delta. Come grow with us and see all that our chapter has to offer. It's always a great time to be an Alpha Xi!
